Anonymous usage stats are on by default (tray: Send anonymous usage stats) and include a random install id, a truncated SHA-256 of the license key, app, Windows, and OBS versions, clip save and missed-save counts, cut success, failure, and durations, and short error texts. Optional fields add save timing, the GPU marketing name, the encoder, game resolution and frame rate while the game is in front, setting-change counts, startup crash type and module, license tier, OBS health counts, free space on the clip drive, average clip size, the last update result, session length, which features are on, why a clip key produced no clip, whether other clip apps look on, the previous app version, when this install last updated, whether game audio was captured, and whether that audio is the FiveM app, Desktop Audio, both, or neither. The heartbeat is at most once a minute and does not include file names, paths, usernames, or the PC name. An error dialog also sends that error at once: the code, the full message, the setup step, and the last 30 setup.log lines, with C:\Users\<name> rewritten to %USERPROFILE% and the PC name rewritten to %COMPUTERNAME%. They do not include serial numbers, usernames, the PC name, paths, IP addresses, locale, keystrokes, or the license key.
